In remodeling it is very difficult to specialize in everything - a kitchen
yesterday, a garage today, and a deck specialist tomorrow?

Industry. In 1990 Milt was named Specialty Contractor of the Year by NARI.
Contractor/Client Relationships are very important!
"Often, a client has higher expectations as to what
is involved in dealing with a contractor. It is important
to
keep in mind
that a contractor does not simply deliver a product off the
shelf.
A client demanding an unrealistic time frame often puts the
contractor in a position to promise something he can not
deliver.
The contractor will sign the job in hopes that once the signature
is on the line, the client will remain committed to the job
regardless of when it is completed.
Contractors are notorious for over committing jobs. Nobody
likes to turn work away, especially those dealing with seasonal
business. Unfortunately, the result is dissatisfied clients
because their projects are not being started on schedule,
or worse, not completed. Under bidding is also common. When
a contractor uncovers his competitors bid, he will attempt to gain the
job
by
coming in with a lower price. Cutting profit usually results
in cutting corners."
